About Jorge

Jorge hasn't been a butcher, baker (or whatever that third thing was) but has pursued passionately diverse experiences in NYC, Miami, Steamboat Springs, CO, Cape Cod, and now LA. After finishing Villanova University (Marketing/Advertising) he worked as a writer for Emmy-Winning Digital Kitchen) in NYC - creating opening credit sequences for iconic Television shows, a teacher/business owner in the hospitality industry that grew to 108 Employees – inspiring a Mafia strong-arm attempt that he thwarted (and lived to write a screenplay about). He was a basketball coach in Miami who coached a few pros and several D1 scholarship recipients - and was a Master Level Personal Trainer. He worked as a volunteer at a substance abuse clinic. This period of exploration bled into his writing - as he's written dramatic or comedic works (TV, NYC Theatre, Film) set in each tableau - as well as directed (TV, Theatre, hundreds of staged table reads)
Not sleeping much, Jorge was also a reader for Miramax and Gold Circle films in NYC, and started , a Teleplay and Screenplay feedback service that has provided in-depth analysis to Oscar and Sundance nominated writers, Staffed TV scribes (network and streaming) and TV Fellowship winners.
He loves to create - and even if not the originator, loves to contribute bricks to the house of STORY.
