Jenna is attempting to break the world record for fastest marathon time dressed as a fruit, but a new relationship threatens to thwart her efforts. Will she be top banana?

Van’s replaced a host of drug and alcohol addictions with long distance running. Can he stay sober long enough run the race, or is a relapse eminent? Sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll marathons.

Shareef earnestly wants to complete a marathon, but his training is continually interrupted by overzealous cops suspicious of a Black male runner.

Ryan missed qualifying for last year’s Boston Marathon by nine seconds. He’s obsessed with everything Boston. This is his year. Or is it? A foot injury and a testy relationship with the cameraman may be his undoing.

Conor will go to any extreme for a T-shirt, including run a marathon. However, his world crumbles after his Irish mother donates his tees to the church. Fueled by the loss, Conor ramps up his training and kills it. Or her.

Skills: Must be able to speak with an Irish accent.

Emilou quits roughly 30 seconds into her training regime… because she’s a sane, normal person. From there, all aspects of her life (sex, career, health, etc.) get progressively better. Not running the marathon was the best decision Emilou ever made.

The producer is forced to hire a Dole product placement banana to train with/against Jenna. Ben, aka 2nd Banana, alternates from energetic goofball to sensitive soul, but we can never tell if he’s being genuine or just acting.

Ed’s the Devil’s Canyon Marathon race director. He owns a running store, but aspires to be an athletic shoe designer in the mold of Bill Bowerman.
