Two detectives in the near-future investigate homicides using a drug that brings the victims back from the dead for one minute only.

SYNOPSIS:

Mason and One are two homicide detectives who have been groomed for their jobs since they were children. They work in a run-down city where drug abuse is rampant and has caused a massive class separation and war, to the point of rebellion.

The duo are investigating a routine homicide in a down-town area, they use a specialised serum to bring the victim back from the dead and question him. The victim reveals that he was killed because he was sheltering someone called ‘Alice’ from the government.

Mason and One hunt down Alice and eventually find her in a decrepit apartment, dead from an overdose. As is routine, they bring her back alive, to leave a final message. Mason and One watch, bored as Alice spouts off anti-government rhetoric for her final minute, but after the minute is over, she keeps talking. As Alice remains alive, Mason and One realise they may have found the first person who can truly be brought back from the dead, meaning they are now in the crosshairs of both the government, and the rebels.
