May 10, 2016 I completed the University of Washington screenwriting program. Six months later had placed in the quarterfinals of Bluecat and was a finalist in the Anchorage film festival with my first screenplay. I've since been hired on three different occasions to write feature screenplays or synopses (that are under current review to move forward) and will close the deal on an option of my third screenplay at the end of this month. A little writing talent, a helluva lot of hard work, self-marketing, and making solid business connections got me to this point one year later. Hoping to generate even more interest in some upcoming ideas I'm pitching. RB's words cannot fall on deaf ears - you have to market yourself, write every single day and make new connections every day.
