Writer/Director, founder of Iguana Films, LLC, and Asst. Prof. at Emerson College, Boston, MA. Over a dozen of her documentaries have shown on PBS and internationally including fiction/documentary hybrid REBEL, winner of an Erik Barnouw Award (given to best historical films in America), available on Amazon Prime. Director, SciGirls PBS series, nominated for an Emmy (2019), winner of Warren, Rockefeller awards, former Chair NALIP, and currently on WGAE (Writer’s Guild of America) Committee on Inclusion and Equity. In development on feature magical realist feature drama Secret Life of La Mariposa, based on her own experience growing up undocumented and graduating from Harvard, supported by Sundance, Cine Qua Non and New York Stage and Film labs.
