Film (Documentary, Drama and Musical) Camera and Electrical Department The Booker is a documentary short about Jeff Cahill's life booking bands on The Sunset Strip. Jeff Cahill booked live acts at many iconic music venues in Los Angeles including The Viper Room and The Key Club. Jeff found his home above The Roxy Theatre at On The Rox, a dark stylish lounge with a small stage, stiff drinks and an undeniable rock n' roll history. Joining The Roxy family in Jan 2010, Jeff Cahill successfully booked bands at On The Rox up until his unexpected death in Jan 2013. He focused mostly on local bands and he wasn't afraid to take chances on unknown musicians. Jeff created an atmosphere where artists and musicians felt empowered and he re-established On The Rox as a destination for live music and Hollywood class. Written by Anonymous
