SYNOPSIS:

Bethany Wolfe was orphaned at eight. She grew up under the watchful eye of Spiegel an orphanage priest. In a moment of spiritual weakness, Spiegel promises Bethany she will grow up to be a saint. Bethany's young psyche can't take the pressure. She runs away with her boyfriend, Tommy. They live together, building a life in Indianapolis. When Bethany steps out of her comfort zone and befriends a young girl, Tommy gets involved -- however, Bethany's violent past catches up with her and puts everything she cares for in jeopardy. Bethany must choose between her hard-earned independence and those she loves, making the greatest sacrifice and fulfilling an old man's misguided prophecy.
