Founder of Shelter Film, a New York-based independent film company dedicated to changing the narrative by creating films by and about women and other under-represented groups, and Shelter Theatre Group NYC, a non-profit company dedicated to equality on stage, through gender-blind, age-blind, and color-blind casting. She has produced/directed 13 stage productions in NYC, including the critically acclaimed Macbeth on LES.
