About Virginia

Virginia Kennedy is a film director, illustrator and screenwriter. After directing over 100 commercials and winning prizes for her music videos and TVC's she moved into long format. She wrote and directed a studio feature film in Malay called "Girlfriend Kontrak" that was released in cinema's in September 2015 and is now on Netflix in Asia. Her short film, "Thread" won at the largest short film festival, Clermont Ferrand Short in 2016. Her latest project, she wrote and directed is a feature film in Mandarin called Deliveries. She is writing two projects at the moment, a bittersweet dark comedy called B!TCH and an animated feature.
