About Felicia

Originally from the Pilsen neighborhood in Chicago. Grew up in town of Cicero, made famous by Al Capone and the ethnic town of Berwyn where I was the Houby Queen, Richard Koz aka Svenghoulie made famous on his Saturday night Son of Svenghoulie Horror Show. I knew as a little girl, I wanted to entertain, so my proud Polish Grandpa bought me an organ, which later I graduated to the piano. I loved being in talent shows and theatre from grade school through high school. I also modeled at local fashion shows in malls and the merchandise mart. When I graduated high school I entered a few pageants such as Miss Teen Illinois USA, Miss Chicago for Miss America, and All American Teen. I was creative sewing costumes and winning top five out of a couple hundred contestants, and placing in the top 5, and 10, and winning a local competition. My talent was playing classical.piano. I loved being on that stage!!! Shortly after that 3 year stretch, I stopped competing and helped direct the pageants and coordinate dance numbers, costume changes, swimsuit and evening gowns. One day, a friend gave me a newspaper clipping for an audition with a radio station to be a Spokesmodel for promotions....so, I auditioned at Excaliber and was picked to compete at the last round. There were close to 1,000 applicants by the last round of auditions and I was one of 9 chosen to represent The Blaze-Rock 103.5 as a Blazegirl on a poster to sign at promotions, events, and concerts! I also danced for the CBA as a Chicago Rocker Cheerleader. The funniest performing I have ever done was dancing for The Funny Little People as a Bride at weddings and an Elf at Christmas Festivals. You can say I have had a colorful past! Other promotional events include filling in for Jenny McCarthy as a St.Pauli Girl. I also worked for Burke Beverage as a Bud Girl at many events and parades. Currently, I manage, market, book bands, train employees and bartend at ocal Scratch Kitchen and Ale House called Smokey Jo's. I enjoy people and making them laugh and smile. I hope to get back into the scene again. I miss it so much! I went , obtained a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration & Management and became an Admissions Counselor and later a Director of College Admissions for 6 years working 60-70 hours a week, not having time to audition. It has never left my heart or mind tgat one day I will be diving back into the tank again! So here I am, hoping to start auditioning for print work, commercials, tv, etc.
