Harry is a published writer and poet. His Ebook Detective novel "Passion and Desperation that Fox Films held for eight months until questions arose as to Options Agreement difficulty. (Seeking a partner/script writer.) Harry has published many poems and short stories of Love, Romance, Pets, Career, etc. Served as a Sergeant in the Marines, (Oct 52, to Oct 56.)
Harry is a Long retired NY City Police Sergeant of many varied titles as Anti Crime Supervisor, Integrity Control Officer, Detective Sergeant, Precinct Planning Officer, Intelligence Supervisor, and Special assignments with Chief Of Detective Field Internal Affairs. Coordinator of Bronx-Westchester County Organized Crime Intelligence Task Force.
His police career of 22 years involved in over 1100 arrests for Murders, Rapes, Robberies, with several off duty that resulted in many Medals and Recognition. He personally rescued over twenty lives in fires due to quick response. He once rescued a family and carried a little girl through flames to safety. Harry also delivered four babies while on patrol. He is a Member of the NYPD Honor Legion. Harry was an Honored Guest speaker at SUNY Stoneybrook University, NY Maritime Academy, and local community groups such as Bronx Co-op City Assn, Rotary club, Sands Point Ladies Club, and Community Love in Action group in Golden Lakes Florida. Much police crime experience and many stories to tell. Currently into two novels and needs a partner with knowledge of industry.
Has formulated "Writing Art Products HG176" and is also seeking a Partner and Marketer for same. Harry was married for over 53 years and lost his wife Catherine to a long illness of 12 years. He has two Daughters and Two sons with thirteen Grandchildren. He is now married to his loving wife Rae Marie and resides in Bethpage, NY.
