“The FBI struggles tracking an untraceable serial killer.  When a female detective accidentally bumps into him, she quickly finds out why they are looking in the wrong direction as she becomes the prime target”. 

SYNOPSIS:

The FBI has been informed that a series of unsolved murders in secluded vacation properties all over the United States and Europe are linked to an untraceable serial killer. The case becomes a priority Joint Task Force with several law enforcement agencies. Detective SOPHIE GREY from an elite LAPD Unit and OLIVER JOHNSON, a crime data analyst, are assigned to work on the case.

The case takes Sophie and Oliver to different crime scenes, and as the investigation continues, law enforcement is unaware that the serial killer abducted another victim. Revisiting two of those crime scenes, Sophie finds clues to profile the serial killer. She informs the FBI there may be two working together. As the FBI struggles in preventing new crimes related to the case, she suggests using Forensic Palynology to narrow down the killers location.

Meanwhile, Sophie and Oliver are informed by the FBI of a suspicious counterfeit credit card used in renting a cabin in the secluded area close to where they were investigating. The two of them drive to the remote cabin at night. They find the victim alive. In the process of rescuing her they get ambushed by the serial killer. A fight ensues and Sophie kills him. The FBI sends out a Team to the cabin, however find no trace of the body. At this point law enforcement is aware that a second serial killer is on the loose. He is out for revenge. He hunts Sophie as she profiles him.

The results of Forensic Palynology suggest the serial killer is from Southern California. Following different leads, Sophie profiles the second killer, ROBERT D., the son of a multi-millionaire developer. Before the FBI could act, Robert hires criminals to storm Sophie’s Unit and kidnap her. The FBI S.A.C is killed in the gunfight. Sophie’s team rushes to rescue her. Oliver is able to get Sophie’s location. Robert is killed in a dramatic fight.
