Frieda Mann is a British Asian Actress based in the UK, she played the lead female in a revivial of Roy Mitchell’s Care at The Courtyard, Hoxton-“I don’t know what it was about her (Frieda’s) performance that made me love it as much as I did. Perhaps it was her Birmingham accent (I never found out if it was her real accent or not) which, despite its repetitiveness and it being a source of aggravation for Terry, was sort of musical. She made full use of her captivating eyes which, with the flutter of an eyelash, could suddenly change the tone of the scene.” Review from Arthurs Seat, Frank McHugh.
Having Repetory training from Fourth Monkey TC and Film and TV training from The New York Conservatory of Dramtic Arts, Frieda is a versatile and well versed actress who is able to lead a dramatic show or work in a physical based ensemble as seen in the her work at The Bush Theatre earlier this year, The Interrogation of Sandra Bland part of the Black Lives Black Words Production. With such versatile casting (from Indian to Mixed Race or Meditterranean) Frieda is excited to see what the futute holds and cannot wait to get her hands on more gritty, exciting, challenging and groundbreaking roles.
