LITTLE METALHEADS
By Keith Makenas

GENRE: Comedy, Animation
LOGLINE:

Set in the late 1980s, four 13-year-old boys conspire to rule the world….or at least their little town, using a different heavy metal band for inspiration in every episode. But ruling the world is no easy adventure. Thwarting their progress are their sworn enemies, a gang of 13-year-old school mates who happen to be hardcore grunge fans.

SYNOPSIS:

After annoying his trailer park neighbors by blasting heavy metal music at sunrise, Jimmy races to school, but not before a pissed-off neighbor tells him Judas Priest is playing a concert that night. Jimmy can’t control his excitement as he meets up with Corey, Ralphy, and Mikey, and shares the news. The boys absolutely must go to the concert, but know their parents won’t allow it on a school night. So they strategize a secret plan to sneak out after sundown. A plan that wrecks more havoc than they anticipated, but nevertheless succeeds.

When they get to the concert venue, they aren’t able to get tickets because, well, they’re broke. The only other option is to sneak in through a sewer grate. Once inside, they have to crowd surf to get to a good spot to watch the concert. They’re having the time of their lives, until a tornado mosh-pit sucks them in and whips them around.

The next morning, they’re beaten and battered, and late for school. They can’t miss another class and have to sneak into the school undetected. Unlike the previous night at the concert, they get caught breaking in. A bloated puffer-fish of a security guard sends the boys to the principal’s office, and while they think they’re about to be disciplined, they come face to face with Judas Priest’s lead singer Rob Halford. He’s there with the principal, a dedicated metal head himself, to return Jimmy’s wallet, which was lost at the concert.
