About Vikram

Vikram Bawa is an internationally acclaimed creative artist who turned pro much later in his life than most photographers.

His client portfolio exceeds 500 including BBC Worldwide Media, Better Homes & Garden, CEAT, Coca Cola, Channel V, Dove, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Godrej, ITC, L’Oreal, MTV, Reebok, Skoda India Auto Ltd., Sony Electronics and TBZ.

Apart from bringing 3D photography to India, way back in 1998, he also created the first ever 3D covers for the top magazines.
Vikram’s editorial work regularly appears in editions of Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Hello!, Hi!Blitz, Marie Claire, Verve and Vogue, all over the world.

One of the first proponents in the industry to promote photography as an art form has seen his work being featured with artists like Brinda Miller, Bruta, Pareish Maitey, Arzaan Khambatta, Akbar Padamsee, and many more, apart from solo shows.

Vikram’s passion for various art forms saw him dabble his hands at music videos and direction. A short film, “Yahaan Gandhi Bikta Nahin’, showcased at The Kala Ghoda Art Festival in Mumbai, was lauded as one of the best films on Mahatma Gandhi.

Known for stretching the acceptable thresholds of art and creativity with new techniques & ideas has earned Vikram the title of Master of Gimmicks in the late 90's. Vikram is again setting new trends in the country with his fashion films, cinemagraphs, stop motion and CGI.

Twisted Heads, a coffee table book conceived by Vikram, is a miniature beehive magazine with an eccentric mix of photography, art, personal letters, notes and poetry.

A spiritual being with an unceasing love for life and people, Vikram Bawa is a lot more than his name. A creative thinker, a business man, a writer, a traveller, a teacher, a TV show host, a self-confessed driving enthusiast and a technology junkie, he lives his passions, a day at a time.
