Alya (ah-lee-ah) is an actor, improviser and host of The Actor's Resource podcast.

She is also a member (and producer) of "FreeFall International" Improv troupe - an international group of actors and creators, established during the pandemic, performing live, unscripted shows for people all over the world to connect with each other and have fun together. We entertain our audiences with joy, tears and/or laughter, by recognizing our shared humanity.

Alya played the lead in "Touch of Essence" - an official selection of the 2015 CAAM film festival.

Alya has acted on a variety of sets - including network television, numerous independent films, corporate industrials, and commercials such as Lucifer, 13 Reasons Why and IBM. She is consistently working on honing her acting craft and improvisation.

Alya is quirky, funny, idealistic and generally a 'happy-go-lucky' person. She loves being involved in productions that can positively influence a person's life.
