SYNOPSIS:
Karma is a supernatural slasher set in modern day. It can be filmed with a very small budget and relatively cheap cast. In 1934, eight kids played a senior prank on the local handicapped child that results in a fatal accident. The crime goes unsolved and all the kids go on to lead normal long lives. 80 years later, Tatum McCullough is busily preparing for her H.S. graduation when one of her friends Julianne is discovered dead in the exact spot that town urban legend bogeyman Thomas Mayhew was found accidentally killed pre-Ww2. Devastated, Tatum begins to investigate the strange legend that her town has passed along for decades, finding weird similarities between Thomas' accident and her own group of friends. Chalking Tatum's findings to paranoia and Julianne's death to a tragic accident, Tatum's classmates are more concerned with partying, sex and graduation. The body count soon rises though as someone bent on revenge hunts the group of seven teens and Tatum is forced to find the connection between her friends and Thomas Mayhew's legend. Little does she know her and her friends are the reincarnation of the eight kids who sent Thomas to his grave. Now Thomas is back too. But is he a ghostly specter or has he come back in a new body, one nobody knows is housing the soul of a psychopath intent on righting a decades buried wrong? Will Tatum figure out her deadly past in time to save her and possibly some of her friends? Will Thomas succeed in his revenge? Is Thomas' soul residing in the body of someone Tatum trusts? Bloody "Karma" always gets you eventually.
