For what it's worth, I am a middle aged family man. First career was an Arborist. It taught me troubleshooting, hard work and viewing the world from a new perspective. I then went into the newspaper industry for 17 years. This taught me to not waste so much of your precious time on earth, just for a paycheck, but I found out how to fully engulf yourself in work. After the newspaper I went to college as an adult to learn software development. I have done that for the next 17 years integrating health care applications and systems. Now I write.
