Film by Elie Chouraqui Location Scout, Consultant Isabel Ellsen, the film's scriptwriter based the story on her own experiences as a war journalist during the war in former Yugoslavia. I took her and and Elie Chouraqui, the Director, to all original locations in Croatia where the story of the film takes place. I also did a comprehensive research of the period and places the film covers, interviewed witnesses and obtained original video footage from private collections and from the Croatian national TV, to help the Director prepare.
