About John

My motto is, Nothing is hard once you know the trick, the secret then, is figuring out the trick.

I have built several houses, designed two of those houses, created a subdivision, written two books, several screenplays, write a bi weekly blog, created several unique recipes, carved soapstone birds, lizards, frogs, built hundreds of yards of dry laid stone walls and have made many pieces of furniture from trees I cut, skidded down, sawed, dried and worked myself.

Today I live in the underground home I designed and built. In three years living here I have not turned on my heat or AC once. My carbon footprint would be near zero if not for the tires I burn regularly in my backyard.

I love invention, building new. It is my passion.

That is why I write, not so much to get my movies made or for recognition, (those things would be nice), but because I have to.
