A part from being involved in theatre and short film projects as an actress, she has also produced and directed two projects. 'Internet Bully' is a short film which won the Aprilfest 24 Hour On Line Film Challenge in 2010 and has been screened in Cannes during the festival and at the Beverly Hills Film TV & New Media Festival in 2010. The other project, 'Thinking of You', which was awarded best music video at the Beverly Hills Film TV & New Media Festival in 2011, was shown on MTV Afrika. Both 'Internet Bully' and 'Thinking of You' were selected to be screened at the New York Film Festival Week during the New York International Independent Film Festival in 2011.
Paola started training in acting as young as 8 years old where she attended a course in her native village and performed in Christmas shows and local parades with other children.
Later in Bologna she took part to drama schools stages and fringe plays beside working for a local radio as a DJ. Once in London she took grade 7 with merit in Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) and in Character Study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD). Paola also took an A level in music, at the Meridian Music Centre (MMC), followed by a grade 7 with merit in Musical Theatre singing at the London College of Music (LCM). She passed the Bronze Shakespeare Certificate at the Royal Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts (RAMDA).
After many acting, movement/dance, singing and phonetics classes held in different institutions like Pineapple Performing Arts School (PPAS), Arts Educational School, City Lit and Morley College, Paola successfully completed at the City Literary Institute a 1 year Acting Foundation Course followed by a 1 year Musical Theatre Diploma Course accredited by Trinity College London. Not satisfied yet with her dancing/movement skills, Paola also completed a 1 year course in Dance Techniques at Morley College accredited by the London Open College Network (LOCN).
Besides the performing arts industry Paola has also been involved in press PR for the fashion and the filmmaking industries and has been organising very successful film events that attracted an international crowd of celebrities and personalities.
