Deborah Vines

BIO
Deborah Vines (), an award-winning filmmaker and playwright, has been involved in theater and film as a writer, actor, director, and producer for several years. She has written 9 screenplays, with 2 development deals under her belt; 2 TV pilots, one of which is currently being pitched. Her numerous plays, which include one musical ( ), have been produced in various venues throughout the U.S., including in Boston, NYC, and L.A.

Vines has also worked as a journalist and recently finished a memoir about the unusual events that led to the breakdown of her marriage as well as a book comprised of 1 novel and 2 novellas (3x—Jane, Norton and John). Vines holds an MS in counseling psychology and is a member of AFTRA/SAG, ASCAP, the Dramatist’s Guild, NYWFT, and the Woodstock Fringe Playwrights Unit NYC.
