A true story of a rebellious and depressed punk rock singer who escapes the stronghold of her parents, to work her way up the music world, and become the most recognizable and unruly performer of the late 20th century, before her untimely death.

SYNOPSIS:

Wendy finally escapes her overbearing parents to Europe.

Wendy grew up in a loving home, but her parents were strict and mother mentally abusive. Wendy was always rebellious, even at a young age, and dropped out of high school to tour Europe to find her singing career.

Wendy's lucky break occurs when she dances for Kink's Sex Fantasy Group and meets her life partner Rod.

Wendy spent the better part of 12 years bouncing from job to job and continent to continent. Rod and Wendy form the most successful punk rock band of the 80's and 90's, The Plasmatics.

Years of depression, subsequent failed albums and 2 failed suicides attempts, finally catch up to her in 1998.

Wendy has a string of chart failures which forces her into early retirement. Her love for animals is evident as she opens an animal rescue sanctuary. At a crossroads in her life, her third suicide attempt is successful.
