About Michael

I shared a karaoke mic with Bob Dylan at 3 am in Tokyo. I’ve bombed in some of New York’s seediest comedy clubs, written for John Landis and Dan Aykroyd, and worked for David Letterman. I've swapped sob stories with Bruce Springsteen, ridden shotgun with Dale Earnhardt Jr., hung a picture for Yoko Ono, and tweaked dialogue for Christian Bale.

I also have a habit of telling tales, but hell, that’s what storytellers do, right?

My story starts in Kentucky. Born and raised on a small farm, I never really had pets – just meals I hadn’t eaten yet. From an early age, I set my sights on writing and watching movies. But like many screenwriters, I have had to seek a day job through the years, so, you know, Yay advertising!!

While I am at the start of my screenwriting career, I have high hopes for the future. I've done okay in a few festivals and keep plugging away on stories that move me in hopes that they'll move others as well.

Other than that, there's not much more to know about me, other than I am pretty sure that I am a genius.
Or Bipolar.
They share so many traits it's tough to know for sure.
Either way, I'm unpredictable. And that's a bonus in our business.

I currently live and work in New York City.
