Rod Holland's journey into the amazing world of story started as a young archive footage researcher for the renowned New York independent filmmaker Alan Berliner. Rod worked closely with Mr. Berliner on his film "Wide Awake" which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews. After seeing up close the power of story to move and entertain, Rod enrolled in NYU where he studied film and screenwriting. Rod's writing reflects a passion for thrilling, action-packed stories that are always grounded in the complexities of the human experience. Rod's recent Sci-Fi script "Life Expectancy" placed as a Semifinalist in the 2021 ScreenCraft Sci-Fi Fantasy screenwriting competition.
