Hello I’m Stephanie Viguié, my father and I are a team of scriptwriters/content developers originally from Puerto Rico. We recently relocated to Los Angeles to write/develop various projects, beginning with a ground-breaking dramatic series aimed for premium cable channels or a streaming service.
I come from a lineage of filmmakers that has spanned four generations. It all started with my great-grandfather, Juan E. Viguié Sr., who produced, directed and photographed “Romance Tropical” (1934), the second Spanish language feature film with sound in the world.
My grandfather Juan E. Viguié Jr., followed his footsteps, and in 1950 established Puerto Rico’s first film studio, and had a successful career in the industry that paved the way for the development of new talents on the Island.
My father, John E. Viguié, has a notable trajectory in cinematography as well, and my two sisters, brother and myself have been involved with the art of filmmaking since early age.
