SYNOPSIS:

Brandon Wyatt enjoys a carefree life as a professional surfer until an accident on Hawaii’s Pipeline nearly kills him. He is left with debilitating seizures that result in depression. While trying to work up the courage to kill himself as the sun sets on his favorite beach, a stranger approaches him and begins a casual conversation. The man offers him a ride in his personal jet to witness a total eclipse. Brandon accepts the man’s offer, but soon he is drawn into witnessing vile acts in various cities and exotic locales.

Finally, revolted by the rape-murder of a Muslim girl, Brandon escapes back to America and drifts from one men’s shelter to another until the stranger catches up with him again. A man in a California shelter attempts to help Brandon, but this man dies in an accident and Brandon is once more adrift and vulnerable to the predatory wiles of the stranger. This time, he lures Brandon to Mexico where the torture-murders of informants by a cartel drug leader. Fleeing the stranger again, he lives on the streets in El Paso, befriended by a runaway girl. She betrays him to the stranger for cash. Brandon is once more ensnared by the stranger. Seemingly a willing pawn of the demonic stranger, Brandon accompanies him on a revenge plot against a wealthy man aboard his yacht in Acapulco Bay.

Here, Brandon witnesses the man’s murder aboard his yacht and the kidnapping of the man’s wife by thugs working for the stranger. Brandon is turned over to the killers, Zetas, and his fate will be similar to the ones he witnessed earlier in the secret rooms of the drug dealer’s villa. The wife is now drugged and owned by the cartel leader. In the last scene, the demonic stranger, dining in a restaurant, witnesses a young woman spurned by her lover and he smiles, knowing he has found a new victim to replace Brandon.
