About Nadine

Nadine Vaughan is a Writer, Director, Producer and Psychological consultant. Through her company, Native Land Productions, she produces budget pleasing commercials, music videos, and has three feature length film/ documentaries in the hopper. As a writer, her recent novel, "Native Land: Lost in the Mystery of Time" (2009), was adapted to film in 2010. Having recently completed the trailer, it is in development. In 2010, Vaughan was the Florida Casting Director for "The Diary of Preston Plummer" (Released 2012); in 2005, was Associate Producer for "The Touch," an award winning feature film. Vaughan's involvement in film follows a lifetime in theatre. There she wrote, directed and produced plays through her "Living Theatre Company", in WA, CA, and FL. From 1980 and 1990, Vaughan hosted a radio talk show in Northern California (KVMR); won Northern California's prestigious "Elly Award for Best Costume Design" (1994); and performed a one-woman show as Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. Historical accuracy for her theatrical and film projects is gleaned from extensive travels in South America, the USA; and the Scottish Highlands. Her involvement in Native American culture and her intimate journeys into the minds of diverse people provide a unique perspective from which she writes and directs. Educationally, Dr. Vaughan earned degrees in psychology and criminology, returning to film school in 2005, to update filmmaking skills. Vaughan's plans for her latest novel "FireCat! The Legend of Amazon Sage" (in edit), includes making it into a feature film, a graphic novel, and a game. Nadine Vaughan Williams lives on a small island off the coast of Northern Florida where she founded "FilmAmelia! Inc."the place to films if you want beautiful memories...
