Two moronic Australian brothers, who ruin the lives of everyone around them, are banished to Hollywood to pursue their dreams and fend for themselves for the first time in their lives.
SYNOPSIS:
After disappointing their filmmaker parents for the final time, Jim and David James 'DJ' Swan are banished to Hollywood, where they must fend for themselves for the first time. Used to the power and prestige their last name has afforded them in Australia, the brothers are unsure how to make it on their own and deal with rejection and the harsh realities of everyday life. Having grown in in the world of film and television, Jim and DJ dream of creating their own masterpieces, however the rent won't pay itself, so they are forced to work various jobs from episode to episode as they try to keep the flame of their dying film careers alive.
The brothers have an extreme superiority complex, always thinking they’re better than everyone else no matter what situation. This was caused by years and years of growing up in a bubble in which everyone around them was too scared to offend them. They want to impress their parents and prove they can be just as successful, but at the end of the day, they just want their cozy, easy life back, but are always held back by their idiotic decision-making and poor judgment. Despite all this, they are afraid of failure. Something they didn’t know existed until they left their bubble. As brother’s they are naturally competitive with one another and this competitiveness often distracts them from their actual episodic goals. The big question will be, can they learn to care about someone other than themselves?
