Trevor Jenkins is an award-winning filmmaker, photographer, and Commercial Campaign writer [TELLY, ADDY, dotCOMM, DAVEY awards]. He is fluent in French, English and un poquito de Español.
Jenkins created the 7 screen installation ‘Swim Tank‘ for the SFF gala honoring Guillermo Arriaga. His film & photographic work includes collaborations with Harvey Keitel, RUN DMC, Trevor Hall, Sheila Jaffe, Siobhan Fallon, American Conductor John Morris Russell, and choreographer Jamie Parrish, His short film ‘Paradosis’ won the USA Film Festival (Regional Finalist by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences). ‘Love Over Fear | Ethiopia’ debuted in The New Industry program for the Oaxaca Film Festival in Mexico. ‘Aldo’s Story | Guatemala’ premiered in the Documentary program at the Canadian International Faith & Family Film Festival. Along with Brian McManus, he cast John Mellencamp’s ‘Our Country‘ directed by Albert Watson.
A graduate of the SCAD M.F.A program; he has instructed new media artists at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, the Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, The Governor’s School For the Arts in Virginia, and Georgia Southern University in Savannah. He developed his love for time-based performance and emotional rhythms while studying in the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada.
Jenkins continues to encourage young artists by teaching workshops for elementary and middle school students in North and Central America.
Jenkins is an FAA Licensed sUAS Operator Commercial Pilot [Drones].
