Denise Savage metaphorically declares her fear of remaining a virgin and of being recognized for the wrong reasons in this monologue from John Patrick Shanley's "Savage in Limbo." I am seeing film and television work, but am theater trained, so this is an audition monologue I prepared in the past when working on-stage.
I am seeking film/television work, but am theater trained. This is a monologue from John Patrick Shanley's play "Savage in Limbo" in which the 30 year-old virgin Denise metaphorically pleads with the character Tony to be with her. She is inadvertently expressing her absolute fear for not being understood and being alone for the rest of her life.
