Santiago J. Safra

Originally from Medellin, Colombia, Santiago Jaramillo de Safra was born to Sephardic Jewish parents of Spanish and Portuguese ancestry. He served in the U.S. Army and is a retired combat veteran with deployments to Israel, Iraq and Kuwait.

In his heart he's always been a storyteller and has always channelized this throughout his life. Story telling has allowed him the escapism he needs from the reality of life. Safra has a passion for character driven thrillers that cross the board from spaghetti westerns to action genres.

Safra earned the Bachelors of Fine Arts in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy and is a Writers Guild Foundation Alumni.
