About Everett

I wrote an appealing comedy play called “Three on a Ring.” I put this play on in Los Angeles at the Ebell Wilshire Theatre and it also ran for a few dates at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Hollywood. The play received exceptional reviews. It’s a first class, yet; simple story with a 60’s feel to it. A professional written theme song was created for the play.

My goal that I would like to accomplish is to develop this play into a feature film. I was hopeful that an experience producer would have an interest in taking on or assisting on this project. I’m available to address any questions or forward any additional material to you. There is a video treatment available and a completed feature script. The primary shooting location will be in one central area around a house which will make this a very manageable budget.

I grew up in Toledo, Ohio where I was fascinated with story-telling and structure from feature films. I moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at the famous AFI Film Institute, where I learned how to structure a story, produce, direct and operate a cinematic camera. Over the years, I would work odd jobs with Desprod Productions and learned the behind the scene workings from the television and movie industry. My first project, I wrote and produced in 1996, was a short film called “Kiss and Say Goodbye.” I followed up with another short film called “One Life to Give,” and the film received great reviews at the Black Hollywood Film Festival and the Boston Film Festival. Over the past few years, I wanted to move away from the smaller projects and begin to write full length features, sure as “Alone at Night,” “The Neighbor,” “Two Sides to a Coin” and two plays, “Deliverance” and “Three on a Ring.”

AFTER I HAD A DRINK OR TWO THAT SAME MORNING, ANOTHER WOMAN SHOWS UP, IT WAS KAREN JAMISON, MR. J'S WIFE, BUT HERE IS THE DEAL, MR. J AND I BELIEVED SHE DIED IN A PLANE CRASH 10 YEARS AGO. OH, DID I MENTION THAT THIS WAS MR. J'S WEDDING DAY. HIS NEW WIFE TO BE IS A WEALTHY HEIRESS, MS. JACQUELINE MERRITT, AND SHE HAS NO IDEA HE WAS EVER MARRIED BEFORE. NOW IF YOU THINK THAT WAS BAD, MR J’S. COLLEGE BUDDY (JACKSON) A HANDSOME, SMOOTH TALKER DROPS IN CREATING CHAOS BY TELLING THE WOMEN MR.J STILL LOVES THEM. WHEN MR J. COMES HOME HE FINDS HIMSELF FACE TO FACE WITH THE TWO NEW CHRISTMAS SURPRISES. J HAS, IS A TRIANGLE WEB OF WIVES, WHAT HE HAS IS “THREE ON A RING”. AND I NEED A RAISE!!!
