A woman who writes fiction, a self-starter and a visionary who believes in giving back and that getting older only adds to the adventure of life.

Beverly DeWalt-Walker is the Creative Author of “The Power of God’s Love, a series of three books that follow the life of young Peter Colman who is at war with the Devil himself. Her books are about hope, second chances and outcasts overcoming the darkest of obstacles. But most of all, they’re about how the Power of God’s Love changes everything.

Beverly made her mark as a Corporate Business Manager in the medical field before creating and developing her own non-profit organization “Soldiers of the Lord Productions Inc.,” which promotes and nurtures the gifts and talents of the underprivileged youths of all ages. It was while working with youths that she discovered her gift for Creative Writing, starting with “In Search of the Great I Am, (a stage play for youths) It was after this that she began working on her books and from there advanced to so much more.

When asked to offer a dozen things people should know about her, Beverly says:

• I’m an Inventor (created The All in-one Unique Laundry Basket, coming to markets soon.)
• Wrote a TV series, Talk Show for Youths, several Plays and a movie
• Decide to write a Folk Tale and developed “The Curse of the Moonlight Dancer”
• A passion of mine is to help women start their own businesses
• Love my daughters toy Yorkie named Valentino
• Love books that read like movies (I write mine that way)
• Walking, running, climbing stairs (not too many lol) dailey
• Dancing with my two Granddaughters (they keep me young)
• Revealing I have 8 brothers and 2 sisters (my Mom wanted 6 she got 11)
• My father was the great saxophone player Jr. Walker who I started SOTL Productions in honor of
• My greatest passion is to develop SOTL Productions and produce some of my own creations (Imagine that) and do a lot of public speaking
