I am an actor/writer/director from Kentucky who has worked in the markets of Kentucky, Ohio, Austin TX, Vancouver B.C., Seattle and Los Angeles, who has taken time out from the entertainment world to go to grad school--but now I'm back! Looking for acting, writing and directing projects, as well as new representation. I have tons of experience, and I'm rooted in improv--which I view as a core skill that not only translates to comedy, but underscores all of my artistic endeavors, including feature film work, coaching other actors, casting, writing and editing. I am a consummate professional, and feel most alive when I am working on something creative!
Currently developing co-written screenplay "Punk Girls" for production.
Unique traits: I seem to be quite the chameleon, depending on how I'm styled--but I do look strongly Celtic, as my heritage is a mélange of Welsh, Scots, Irish and English. In various phases of hair length/color, I've been told I remind people of Kate Winslet, Drew Barrymore, Lisa Marie Presley, or a young Bette Davis (I am flattered by all). And, although that doesn't make me unique, necessarily, it does help "type" me, which is important in the acting business. I'm particularly suited to the period look, especially 20s/silent film era, and 40s film noir. I would absolutely love to be part of a project with Victorian or Edwardian costuming! I'm currently wearing a nose ring, but that is easily removed--and I have a few tattoos, easily hidden or airbrushed for camera. My hair is more reddish-brown than true red, and my skin is very fair.
