About John

My name is John Sanderson, I am a First Nations male. I've lived in La Ronge, Saskatchewan my whole life.
I grew up on the reservation here in La Ronge and most of my childhood was either watching movies, playing video games, going to the trap-line and using my imagination while playing outside (usually would be acting out movies with other friends)
I've recently started to learn screenwriting (mainly but studying other scripts, Youtube and using the great google search)
My greatest goal is to create a movie I can share with others on screen. After my graduation from high school i went to work full-time for a financial institution, I didn't pursue my dream as i was scared to fail. It wasn't until this year I decided I should be going after my dream. So far I have written a feature film, working on a horror script for a comic book and also a music video short film for a friend of mine (we plan to create this ourselves)

I am new to the industry and would love to bring my stories to life. I also enjoy graphic design (self-taught) and created my own posters for the scripts I've written.
