Film (short) by It's My Shout/Made in Wales (Drama) Writer Chris Davis’ younger brother Stephen is involved in a terrible accident. Chris cannot accept his brother’s demise, and keeps reality at bay by hiding behind an impenetrable wall of self denial. With no one to turn to, his parents too consumed by their own grief and his friends ‘pretending’ it never happened, anger and resentment grows. Gethin Pryce(24), a homeless down-and-out becomes the brunt of Chris’s anger. Why should he be alive, while his brother is ‘dead’? What right does he have to exist, while his brother does not? Won Best Film, Best Actor and Best Lighting at the It's My Shout Premiere, 2014.
