About Cyndie

Cyndie Webster Beacham is an IT professional for over 30 years but writing has been her passion since childhood. She has published a book of short stories in 2007 titled Struck By Lightning, and a novel in 2010 titled HB. She is a life-long resident of New Jersey, with a short four year stay in Columbus, Ohio where she graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA degree. She loves to travel and has visited many cities throughout the United States, provinces in Canada, Mexico, countries in Central America, South America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Cyndie and her husband (late) George Beacham were owner/entrepreneurs of Trading Treasures, LLC. They hosted Flea Markets and sold Beacycles – jewelry and other items made using recycled materials. Their intentions were to encourage reuse and being environmentally responsible.
HB is Cyndie’s first novel which promises to be a thrill ride that will keep the reader on edge in a story that tackles tough issues in our society. Using a prophetic premise, the story explores a possible future in response to nuclear devastation. She has recently published an excerpt from HB (The Getaway - chapter 5) that is popular.
Struck By Lightning and other bolts of reality, has a bonus story included with its second printing ― Son of a Covet, co-authored with her husband, George Ward Beacham III. The stories are about relationships and legacies of dysfunction. The movie Roman is based on the story Son of a Covet.
Roman is a full feature film and Cyndie’s first production. She and her husband George were persistent and motivated new producers who managed to get the ball rolling to produce the movie Roman. George even managed to get a reporter from the Philadelphia Inquirer to interview them about it and featured them in the newspaper… that was 2 months before George suddenly passed away in April of 2016. A year after his passing, Cyndie was contacted by Director Dwight Wilkins who encouraged her to move forward with the film. A cast and crew were hired who believed in the project and God has been in it from the start. She continues to be amazed and grateful at how far they have come with the help of so many family and friends who have encouraged and supported her along the way.
Thankful, grateful and blessed is how she describes herself and her motto is ‘Happiness is a choice!’
