I am accountant by trade but have been passionate about screenwriting for years.
I'm taking a 6-month sabbatical from my current job to concentrate on my creative side for a while.

I read quite a few books about screenwriting and took a few classes at Raindance and Screenwriting U and just signed up for the Spring Webinar with Robert McKee that kicks of in a few days.

For the last 3 years I have been taking part in the NYC Midnight Writing Challenges, which I enjoy quite lot. The randomly assigned genres, tight deadlines, it's great.

I joined this community as I am at a stage in my life where I do not want to wonder as to what if but rather take my passion more seriously and start writing.
