To protect his only friend, a solitary man must become the secret bodyguard of his own bodyguard.

SYNOPSIS:

1 - THOMAS, 40, gets out of a prison where he had been for the last 20 years, convicted for a crime he claims he didn’t commit: his parent’s assassination.

2- He returns to Burlington, the small town where he had always lived and where he’s now looked on with suspicion and dislike by everyone who consider him a dangerous assassin. He has no family or friends and, because he is an introvert, he spends his days alone and sad.

3- THOMAS hires a full-time bodyguard only to have someone to talk to. They become friends.

4- But when CHRIS, 27, the bodyguard, who craves some action, suspects Thomas only wants company, he threatens to quit.

5- THOMAS gets in touch with WONG, the leader of a Chinese Mafia, who he had met in prison, and asks him to send his men to simulate an attack against himself.

6- When the attack takes place, CHRIS reacts in a very quickly and unexpected way, killing the three assailants, including WONG’s son! Now the Chinese Mafia really wants to kill… CHRIS.

7- THOMAS cannot bring himself to tell Chris that the attack was simulated and that it’s him now the Mafia wants to kill. In order to protect his only friend, THOMAS must become the secret bodyguard… of his own bodyguard!

8- THOMAS tries to learn the fighting techniques from CHRIS, in order to protect him.

9- But the Mafia catches CHRIS and tortures him to death.

10- THOMAS uses all the fighting skills he learned from CHRIS, in order to revenge him.

11-Thomas attacks WONG’S isolated mansion, killing him and all his 30 bodyguards.

12- Now THOMAS is alone again in solitude. As he cannot hire a new bodyguard, but he doesn’t want to be alone, he becomes himself a full-time bodyguard.
