Anthony Vercoe

Australian born, I travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and North America for several years before settling in Stockholm, Sweden. After winning a short film contest I was accepted into Stockholm Film School and my final project went on to win numerous awards at independent film festivals in Sweden.
On returning to Australia, I collaborated on a feature film script which won the ZTudio What IF? Award for Best Unproduced Screenplay in 2005.
Since then I’ve been commissioned to adapt two novels (one written in Australia, the other was on the NY Best Sellers List) and to write a script based on an original idea by a Sydney based production company. Two of my two original screenplays have also been optioned.
At present, I have several spec scripts in development, enjoy writing short stories and have a novel in progress.
