Eduardo Ortiz

Eduardo "Transfor" Ortiz directs his first film "Qué Despelote", which became the third highest grossing Puerto Rican film in Puerto Rico's cinema in 2010. After that achievement, he worked on the films "¡Qué Joyitas!" and "¡Qué Joyitas 2!", which were blockbusters respectively. He then released “Qué Despelotón”, becoming the only director in Puerto Rico to release two films in less than a year. For 2015, Transfor Ortiz makes history by releasing the movie "Los Domirriqueños" a comedy with Puerto Rican and Dominican talent which was presented in theaters in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. It becomes the highest grossing film in the history of Puerto Rico, grossing a total of $ 3 million.

In 2016 he released “Paper Cups”. He then works on the biographical film of one of the most influential figures in urban music, "Vico C". The film achieves excellent "reviews" from critics, and was released in August 2017. In the same year, he is given the opportunity to direct the third installment of one of the most famous franchise in the Caribbean; Sanky Panky 3 and released in the Dominican Republic on March 29, 2018, Sanky Panky 3 becomes # 1 in that country. In 2019, he premieres "The Lost Son" and Domirriqueños 2. Among all his films, Transfor Ortiz has generated more than eight million dollars at the box office for the economy of his native country, Puerto Rico.
