Juha Pihanen

I am a Finnish-born producer (theatre, sports, events), actor, singer and farmer, now dividing my time between Hollola, Finland and Stratford, London, UK.

My strengths lie in project and event management, especially in the world of arts and entertainment. Currently I am working with four other producers to start a new theatre production company in Lahti, Finland. The first production of LAUKES, Lahden Uusi Kesäteatteri (Lahti New Summer Theatre) was a sold-out and critically acclaimed new Finnish musical comedy 'Myllysaaren kaunis Justiina' (2013).

In 2014, I started a TV/Video production company TopLine Media with two of my friends (who I now also employ). We are working mostly in the corporate world, but hopefully expanding to drama in the near future. The company is based in Hollola, Finland.

My first experience was starting up and managing an independent dance company in 1990-93. Between these two, I have a multifaceted history of running and assisting in running various projects and events.

While running our 350-year-old family farm 1990-2003, I learned to work independently, to solve problems on the spot and, most of all, that when working on a project, there are no working hours or weekends until one's work is done. I work best under stress and tight schedules.

I have been extremely lucky in my life to have been working on projects that I like and find important. I rather work for things that are new and for common good, even though their (financial) outcome to me personally might be in doubt.

I am looking for acting jobs, preferably Film and TV but also on Stage (Drama and Musical Theatre). I am a professionally trained actor and a professionally (classically) trained singer who also knows how to move (not a dancer though)

I am not actively looking for anything on the management/production side as I am now concentrating on my acting career and the Summer Theatre. However, should something extremely interesting come in my way, in London, in Finland or otherwise, I would not say no.

I am also eligible for the US Green Card, but do not have it as of yet.
