About Dorell
I was a Police Officer for 20 years as well as an Officer in the Air Force Reserves. On November 27th 2017 my wife was diagnosed with appendix cancer. November 28th 2018, almost exactly a year later, my daughter was diagnosed with AML leukemia. In order to get through chemo, surgeries and a bone marrow transplant we laughed a lot. They made me do an open mic after both went into remission and I loved it. I’ve been doing comedy every since. My true passion is writing comedy. Along with my wife and daughter I have two sons. We’re an entertaining bunch who have been through a lot but have kept our sense of humor. You can learn about me on website
