About Chasidy

Chasidy has been working in television and film production for almost 10 years. Some of her most recent credits include Production Coordinator for Lizzo's Good As Hell (Music Video) and Production Secretary for Season 4 of Queen Sugar (television series). During the peak of Louisiana's film industry, she was able to work shows such as Swamp Pawn, Underground, Street Outlaws: New Orleans, and Killing Fields. She was the jib operator for the main stage at the 2016 Baton Rouge Blues Festival and was a part of the crew that shot the music video for blues singer Kenny Neal's title song for his Grammy Nominated album "Bloodline." In 2016, she started her own company, Morris Lane Productions, which partnered with the New Orleans Video Access Center (NOVAC), through a micro-grant, to create a film for their documentary web series BetteR.
Chasidy's educational background has been moulded by the real world experiences that Full Sail University provides. In Fall 2014, she earned a Media Communications Certificate (MCC). During the MCC program she learned about communication through public relations, advertising, and marketing and how to effectively use these techniques. In Spring 2016, she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Entertainment Business (EBBS), and in Spring 2017 she earned a Master's of Science in Entertainment Business (EBMS). While in EBBS, she learned to research and launch an entertainment company by covering the essentials of a business and professional scenarios. EBMS taught her how to help a business thrive in the industry through case studies, the use of effective leadership, financial planning, strategizing, negotiating and more. In EBMS she also learned how to complete an effective business plan and how to properly present and execute that plan. Before her last turn of the tassel, she stepped into the role of graduate mentor for the Full Sail chapter of National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In September 2019, she continued her education at the New York Film Academy by successfully completing their 2 Day Line Producing Workshop.
A few industry reads she would recommend are Reality TV by Full Sail Alumni Troy DeVold, Insultingly Stupid Movie Physics by Tom Rogers, , , and http://creativeskillset.org.

  • Bring It!

    Bring It! (2016)
Television (Drama, Music and Reality-TV) Miscellaneous Crew Bring It! is a new dance reality show which focuses on the dance team, The Dancing Dolls, from Mississippi. They are a competition dance team, and their style is, "Hip-Hop Majorettes." This show is produced by Lifetime, and is lively, and the girls are fun to watch. Coach D is a strong woman, with a no-nonsense personality, and drives the girls under her to be the best they can be. Still, she has a human side, and she does care about the girls, and tries to be supportive of them (something we don't see too often in another, well-known dance reality show). Further, the "drama" of the dance moms is surprisingly low-key when compared to another reality dance show, also produced by Lifetime. Give this show a chance. It will surprise you, as the dancing is different from what you are likely used to watching. Written by SataiDelen
