About David

I just want to make a feature film before I die. I've written an award-winning screenplay (with another on the way ...) that just needs the right producer, director and team on board, and away we go. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, eh? ... :P.

I'm a writer with a distinct twenty-first century voice, a gift for sympathetic characterisation and a flair for tense plotting who relishes disturbing themes.

'After', my first ever feature screenplay, won 'Best LGBTQ Screenplay' at Big Apple Film Festival (Fall) 2019, New York City and wowed hardcore sci-fi fans as a semi-finalist at the Philip K. Dick Sci-Fi and Supernatural Festival 2020. 'After' was also a semi-finalist in We Screenplay Diverse Voices 2020, coming in the top 6% of all entries.

My independently produced short films have been shown in major cinemas in the US and UK.
