Retired from long-haul trucking after 43 years on the road. I've had a life-long love affair with the English language. Have read extensively since pre-school days and attended numerous writing workshops and courses. I have dabbled in writing over the years; had a few small things published but nothing major.
Since retiring, I've discovered I have a knack for editing the words of others, so I started taking freelance work to supplement my pension. Because I don't depend on it for my main income I can keep my rates low and take more time with each project.
I do a free 1000 word sample edit to determine compatibility with potential clients as well as determine what level of editing is required.
