This is a trailer for the upcoming documentary, "Live From UB". The film explores the rock music scene in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (commonly called "UB") and how musicians have used this genre to develop their own identity. From the fall of the Soviet system in the early 1990s to today, rock music has played an interesting role in the identity of many urban Mongolians. Through interviews with Mongolia's top music makers and by following one band in particular as they find their own unique voice, "Live From UB" documents urban Mongolian life through music.
