However something that occurred to me when hearing about all the conversations and advice was that despite all these doctors years of education and experience, all they really had to go on and draw from were their own experiences. Cancer has no rules and as such there are no clear-cut, definitive answers. I believe the same can be said for the entertainment world. Stephanie's advice is indeed sound and yes, I will definitely keep it mind as I hope everyone who reads it does. But it's not gospel. I think there are times when hype does work and honesty may not. Just like everything else, and especially in this industry, you learn by trying different tactics and see which ones work for you and in what circumstance. In the meantime, thank you Stephanie.
Hello Tony, thank you for the invite. If I can ever help you out with a film, let me know. I have family I can crash with in South Jersey.

Expand commentHi Forbes, We've never met but as I've been free-lancing at HSN for a number of years in the Lighting Department I am very familiar with you. I'd love to come by and see your studio. Depending on what time on Friday the open house is I may be able to come by but if it's after 4pm (which I'm sure it is), unfortunately I will be unable to do so as I'll need to be home with my kids. Perhaps another time though. I'll email you along with my resume so you can see a little more of what it is I do and perhaps we can work together on something in the near future. Thank you, Forbes! For your convenience, the log-line and synopsis are below. Thank you! Larry "Rebellion has a way of punching you in the face." "Jake's the kinda kid your mother warned you about. On the surface it seems as if sex, partying and rock and roll are all that matters to him. What mom doesn't know, is that Jake's just a guy who's learned how to survive the best way he could in a world filled with substance abuse and physical confrontation. Weeks away from getting out of high school and escaping off to college, Jake and his buddies are living it up, crashing senior parties, breaking into their school for late night snacks and hitting the New York City dance clubs. As far as Jake's concerned, everything's working out just fine. But then the real world Jake had managed so successfully to escape from finally catches up and gets in the way. He's expelled from school, is denied admission to college and worst of all, his best friend is killed in a boating accident right in front of him. After losing everything that really important to him, Jake is forced to realize that only he has the power to make his life better- if he has the guts."
