Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Lisetty immigrated to Canada alone to refine her craft. She trained at Humber College in the Film and Television Production program and under the wing of her master Thomas Dean Donnelly the writer known for the film Conan the Barbarian.

She also has a business management certification from the University of Toronto which allowed to fuse her business background with her artistic passion of filmmaking.
This led her to the making of her first feature Penelope's Story which is about a strong willed teenage girl, Penelope, tormented through the years of sexual slavery, want to escape her bondage, but her new found faith must be tested to break the cycle of abuse.
